Presidential Suites - These suites are located on the top floor of a three story building. They feature a main living and dining room equipped with TV, CD and DVD player, kitchen and a private terrace with Jacuzzi. The presidential bedroom has a king size bed and the connecting bedroom has two double beds. Each bedroom has a walk -in closet and full bathroom. There is also a separate guests' bathroom.

Pets are not allowed. No springbreakers allowed. Men are required to wear shirts with sleeves and Bermudas for dinner dining and long pants at all a la carte restaurants.

Iberostar Varadero...Perfection.

We just returned from a week at the Iberostar Varadero (Jan 10-17), the service at this resort was A-1. These people bend over backwards to make you and your children happy for your entire stay with a smile on their face always. The resort was the cleanest I have ever seen in the Caribbean, absolutely immaculate. The tile floor walkways in the buildings living quarters were washed down daily, washrooms were like new and clean as could be, not a bug to be seen in the rooms, dining areas or any where else in the interiors of this resort. We did not receive a single mosquito bite the entire trip and used no repellent.

The food was incredible we ate everything including Sushi, Prime Rib, Lobster, Crab, Shrimp, Chicken, Pizza, Pasta, Pork Tenderloin etc, etc, etc. Plenty of bottled drinking water in the room daily or upon request, there milk was similar to homo milk but my kids (aged 2 and 5) drank it all week with no issues at all (cleared it with the family doctor here first). Drinks were plentiful and delicious (Pina coladas, banana daiquiris, strawberry daiquiris, Mojitos, cappuccinos etc.

Entertainment is second to none, great for the kids and adults alike, kids show is first at 8pm followed by the adult show at 9:30, guests are welcome to participate in shows but not forced to. Plenty of entertainment during the day as well for both the kids and adults, kids club was great for my 5 year old and the instructors were fantastic.

The beach is beautiful and has plenty of activities happening at all times. Huge variety of sea shells along with the odd jelly fish and crab citing. The water is truly turquoise blue, sand is white and the water is warm and generally calm, always swimmable.
Only downfall was the huge cold spell that was present across north America for the first 2 days of trip, they have no heat and it was 40F at night so bring a winter coat and a few items to keep warm just in case, was 90F the last four days of our trip during the day.

We would go back in a heartbeat as it was an amazing trip.
