Iberostar
Hotels & Resorts has begun to develop a hotel complex and a residential compound
in a golf course located in Litibú, Nayarit, Mexico. It called Iberostar Playa
Mita and will have three hotels, villas and condominiums.
The first of the hotels, it is estimated that can be opened by the end of 2009,
will be a 5-star developed on four floors. It will have 456 rooms, all with sea
views, of which 168 are suites king, others 168 double suites and 120 junior
suites. Of these, 144 are directly on the beach. Among its facilities will be a
spa of 375 square meters, a gymnasium of the same dimensions, a meeting room of
105 square meters, a convention center of 453 square meters, and a library of
about 86 square meters.
The second hotel, originally scheduled for late 2009, will be an 'all suites' of
306 rooms also overlooking the sea, 94 of which are directly on the beach. 120
of them
will be junior suites king, as many doubles junior suites and 66 suites. There
will be three buildings of villas with 18 rooms which will have views over the
golf course. Among other services offered spa and gym, both on the beach, a
meeting room of 55 square meters and a library of just over 80 square meters.
The Iberostar Grand Hotel Playa Mita is scheduled to open late 2010. All 163
rooms will have views of the sea and of these,
91 are in the front line on the beach. It will have 148 junior suites and 15
suites, the latter with private pool. Also hosting services will include spa,
fitness center.
